Maus Fall Festival

We started in the midst of covid in 2020. Our oldest son wanted to grow a crop of his own and he picked pumpkins. My husband, a go big or go home kind of guy, gave him a 2.5 acre field to plant his crop in. Two and a half acres of pumpkins is a lot to sell at a road side stand so we started planning to host a pumpkin patch open to the public.

The first two years we were open just the 4 weekends in October. We learned mother nature cannot only rain on your parade but snow on your second weekend of your pumpkin patch when you open that late. Since 2022 we have been open the 6 weekends before halloween to the public and local school field trips during the week. Every year we try to add a new activity.
